Pigeons Nest sits in the hill country above Nuwara Eliya, where the tea slopes start and the air turns cold after dark. We are a guest house and a bespoke travel agency in the same house, you book a room from the people who will also drive you to the falls.

Each room is timber-lined and furnished with modern comforts and touches of traditional craft. Meals are homemade, cooked with ingredients bought locally that morning, and served at our own table.

As a travel agency we build itineraries around what you actually want, cultural sites, wildlife, landscapes or the coast, and put you in a private car with a driver who knows the roads. Ancient temples, tea plantations, national parks and beaches, arranged without the hassle.
